Aaron’s film scoring career launched back in 2013 when a generous entrepreneur took notice of his potential and agreed to fully fund his very first music studio in the basement of his apartment.
Since that time, Aaron has successfully established himself as a new favorite among studio executives, directors, and producers alike. Nominated for multiple awards, Aaron’s music has been featured on several major networks and streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Cartoon Network, NBC, and TBS. He has also composed music for some of the most prominent and prestigious production music houses in the world, including Universal Production Music.
Composing from his home studio in Iowa, he has consistently and effectively disproven the stigma that entertainment professionals must live in one of the industry hotspots (Los Angeles, Atlanta, etc.) to be truly successful. So, what are you waiting for? Go listen to his music, read the “rave reviews” from his previous clients (or his friends, as he prefers to call them), and drop him a line about your upcoming project!
Aaron's music can be heard on:
Co-Founder at Angel Studios, HarmonBrothers.com, VidAngel, and Dry Bar Comedy
“I worked with several very experienced sound designers and composers simultaneously to get the right sound for Angel Studios. We couldn’t get it wrong, and we were willing to put the resources into it to get it right. Aaron’s won.”
Director of Creative Content at Telepictures Music (a Warner Bros. company)
“Aaron’s talent is instantly recognizable, and I became a huge fan of his music the moment I heard it. Aaron has the gifts of an effortless storyteller and skilled craftsman. His work is transportive, epic, and emotional. It has been a pleasure working with Aaron, and I can’t recommend him enough!"
Co-Founder and Former President of Walden Media
“The greatest joy in entertainment is not found at the box office or awards show. It is found in being one of the first to work with the type of talent that comes around only once a generation. From the first note I heard of Aaron’s score, I grinned because I knew that one day I could boast “You know, I got to work with him when he was just starting out.” He has a pitch perfect ear and an encyclopedic knowledge of every possible mood and music style to fit the moment. Yes, as an Irishman I am accused of occasionally exaggerating. But I don’t think it’s much of a reach to say that Aaron is going to compose the kind of timeless scores like John Williams and John Barry that can be enjoyed as their own standalone piece of art even without any accompanying picture or dialogue. I look forward to working with him as much as possible in the future.”
Music Supervisor for The Chronicles of Narnia, City of Ember, Nim's Island, Sahara
"Aaron is one of my new favorite composers. His reel speaks for itself."
Former Dreamworks Animation Exec., Current EVP of Breyer Horses & Reeves Int'l
"Spending 20+ years with DreamWorks taught me the importance of having an emotionally moving soundtrack. When I moved to Breyer Horses, with 70 years of proven history behind the brand, we needed a new short film to tell the story of the company. Aaron’s custom soundtrack helped tie all of our footage into one cohesive experience, capturing the strong emotions our fans feel about their beloved brand. I will definitely use Aaron again. Thank you, Aaron!"
Director/Producer, Warner Bros., Disney Channel, Marvel, Cartoon Network
“Aaron’s ability to take us on a rich, emotional journey through music is a gift. The first piece he created for us was epic and literally gave me chills. Everyone who hears it says, “Wow!” His music now plays alongside movie soundtracks in my playlist. Watch out John Williams!”
Director/Producer, Disneyland: Secrets, Stories, & Magic
"Aaron, your music is awesome! You have that intangible 'it' and that's why I am interested in working with you again in the future."
